Wardy Book Signing - Florida, 12th June

Peter Ward will be signing copies of his book “He Shot, He Scored” at Beef ‘O’ Bradys, Lake Wilderness, Land O’ Lakes on Saturday 12th June.

The signing coincides with the USA v England World Cup match, which will be shown live at the venue, and Wardy will be in the bar from midday.

Peter Ward Shooting Clinic, Tarpon FC - March 29 to April 1

1982 NASL Most Valuable Player Peter Ward was one of the most clinical and successful goal-scorers of his generation. You can now learn the art of goalscoring from the master himself.

From March 29th to April 1st Wardy will be hosting a Shooting Clinic at Tarpon FC Sports Complex. The clinic is open to children aged from 5 to 16 and runs for two hours (6.30 to 8.30 pm) every day.

Wardy returns to Sussex - April 2010

Peter Ward has confirmed that he will be returning to the UK at the end of April to play in the 9th Annual Robert Eaton Memorial Match.

Following an enjoyable - and victorious - debut in last year’s game Peter will be lining-up for the Brighton and Hove Albion supporters team as they face their rivals, Crystal Palace.

The game takes place on Friday April 30th at Lewes FC - kick-off at 7.45.

Brighton’s All-Time Great… Peter Ward!

Peter Ward has been voted by Brighton fans as the greatest player in the club’s history!
In a survey carried out by Sky Sports, Ward received 61% of the votes polled - with three times more people voting for Wardy than for Bobby Zamora who finished second in the poll with 20%.
Peter’s former teammates, Mark Lawrenson (8%) and Steve Foster (7%) finished third and fourth in the voting.

Peter Ward shortlisted for Brighton’s Best Ever Player - vote now!

Peter is one of seven players shortlisted by Sky Sports in a poll to find Brighton’s best ever player.
Peter is up against his old striking partner Ian Mellor and ex-teammates Mark Lawrenson, Jimmy Case and Steve Foster. Also shortlisted are Bobby Zamora, who came close to breaking Peter’s goalscoring record at Brighton in the late ’90s and Tommy Cook who was Brighton’s first England international when he won a cap in 1925. Of course, Wardy became the second in 1980.
