For every copy of ‘He Shot, He Scored - the official biography of Peter Ward’ sold through this website, a donation of £1 will be made to the Robert Eaton Memorial Fund.

Robert Eaton, an avid Brighton and Hove Albion Fan, was one of the 67 Britons killed in the shocking terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers on September 11th 2001.

Matt Horner, author of He Shot, He Scored explains, “One of the first things Peter mentioned to me when we met in Tampa to discuss his biography, was his sadness at the death of Robert, and his hope that we could do something for the Memorial Fund, through the book”

The Robert Eaton Memorial Fund supports children’s football, particularly youngsters aged between 5-16 who may not otherwise be given the opportunity or resources to play.

So far the fund has given pleasure to hundreds of children from New York, Africa, Brighton and even Croydon (Crystal Palace Fans have been very generous). These children would not have had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful game without support from the Robert Eaton Memorial Fund. What better way to honour Robert’s memory?
